When there is a change of ownership of a business, a new application for an Industrial Wastewater Permit and the application fee of $385 must be submitted to the Bureau of Sanitation, Industrial Waste Management Division. The Permit application can be downloaded electronically by visiting this web address: http://www.lacitysan.org/iwmd/resources/pdf/bis_industry/permit/46_Industrial_Waste_Permit_Application.pdf. A copy can also be requested by calling the Industrial Waste Management Division at (323) 342-6200. The Permit is not transferable, by operation of law or otherwise, either from one location to another or from one person to another.
