Description
An Above Ground Facility (AGF) is defined as any structure, cabinet, electric meter or other appurtenance that is installed for telecommunication or utility purposes, and is installed above the surrounding grade in the public right-of-way. AGF installation requires a special review process and also the issuance of an Excavation (Utility or "U") permit. All AGF permitting is handled through the Bureau of Engineering Central District Office. Reference Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC) Section 62.03.2 for additional information.
