The Department of Building and Safety accepts the following geological and geotechnical reports for review and approval: Soil reports, geology reports, combined hillside reports, compaction reports, liquefaction studies, seismology reports. Applications for Haul Route Hearings are also accepted. Counter staff is available to assist you with project planning in any of the following areas: excavation, fill and slopes, foundations, retaining walls.
