Description
An A permit is required for minor construction in the public right-of-way which includes sidewalks, driveways, curb and gutter along property frontages. An A permit is typically issued to homeowners and contractors and can be obtained over-the-counter at the Bureau of Engineering District offices or via the Internet. The scope of work for A permits must be simple enough that engineered plans and survey data is not required for construction.
