Thank you for your interest in the Community Beautification Grant (CB Grant) program. CB Grant is a competitive annual matching grant of up to $10,000 awarded to community groups to fund neighborhood beautification projects. The Community Beautification Grant is a program of the City of Los Angeles, Board of Public Works, Office of Community Beautification (OCB).

The Community Beautification Grant was created in 1998 in the City of Los Angeles under the name Neighborhood Matching Fund as a way for community members to shape their neighborhoods. In partnership with hundreds of neighborhood groups, the CB Grant program has COMPLETED OVER 850 community-based projects and helped spark many of the revitalization efforts happening citywide.
The CB Grant is an annual grant. The funding cycle lasts from July through October. Currently, the 2008 09 Application and Guidelines is available for groups to submit proposals. The due date for submitting the application is October 22, 2008.
For 2008 09, the CB Grant program will award approximately $600,000 in grants which will be enough to fund 65 projects or more.
