To ensure the ability of the Urban Forestry Division (UFD) to manage all of the resources for which it is responsible, UFD is divided into four geographic operational areas and administered from its downtown headquarters. Currently, the Division employs approximately 230 personnel.

Administration and central management occurs from the Division's headquarters located at 1149 South Broadway Street 10 th flr, Los Angeles , CA 90015 . These functions include legal claims investigation, contract management, subdivision and development, median island landscape maintenance management, landscape construction management, and citywide responsibility. UFD upper management, portions of middle management and supervision, and clerical support staff reside at this facility.
