The citywide 50/50 Voluntary Sidewalk Reconstruction Program has increased the number of miles of sidewalk reconstructed from 52 miles to a potential 78 miles. Fifty percent of the program’s funds will be contributed by the Council District’s General Fund allocation and the other half by property owners. The increased service delivery savings are projected at $2.4 million.
