Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, the City of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Islander American Heritage Month Committee invite all students in grades 6 to 12 in L.A. County to participate in this year’s Creative Writing Contest.

To participate, students must choose from a set of figures from Asian & Pacific Islander American history and connect it to the theme, Honoring Our Pioneers and Uniting Future Generations.
Posters MUST arrive by 5:00 pm on Monday, May 5, 2008
