Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, the City of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Islander American Heritage Month Committee invite all K-12 students in L.A. County to participate in this year’s Poster Contest.

To participate, students must choose from a set of figures from Asian & Pacific Islander American history and connect it to the theme, Honoring Our Pioneers and Uniting Future Generations.
Posters MUST arrive by 5:00 pm on Friday, April 25, 2008

Contest winners will have their artwork displayed at the City Hall Bridge Gallery and will receive prizes from our sponsors – including scholarship awards from Wells Fargo. Mayor Villaraigosa will honor the contest winners at a ceremony on May 10, 2008.
