Annual Yard Trimmings Collection

For excess yard trimmings, the City offers a once a year annual brush (yard trimmings) collection free of charge to all households serviced by the Bureau of Sanitation. All yard trimmings must be bundled and tied, no longer than 4 feet long and no heavier than 30 pounds. Please call the Sanitation Call Center at 1-800-773-2489 to schedule a collection. You could also send us your request for annual yard trimmings collection by clicking on the Service Request Form link indicated below. Fill out and submit the Service Request form. The Service Request form takes two days to be processed. Residents may also drop off their excess yard trimmings from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, located at 11201 Randall Street, Sun Valley, CA 91352. For the yard-trimming drop off site, residents must bring their current DWP billing statement and California driver's license to verify City of Los Angeles residency.
