Hyperion Treatment Plant
Construction Projects
The Bureau of Engineering is currently managing about 90 construction projects at the Hyperion Treatment Plant. These improvements are being built so we can continue to provide reliable service while protecting the health of the public and the environment.
During construction, the City takes care to keep noise, dust, traffic, and any other potential construction nuisances to a minimum. We also often meet with and distribute updates to project neighbors before and during construction to get input and give progress reports.
Here are some current projects at the Hyperion Treatment Plant:
Primary Battery C Modifications
Primary Battery C (PBB) was designed in 1948 and constructed soon after. PBB is now being refurbished and modernized under the PBB Modifications Project. PROJECT PAGE
