Temple Street Entrance
In 1994, the bronze doors marking the Temple Street
entrance were restored. The striking composition of the Temple Street
doors, featuring eight recessed panels inset with rosettes, was
barely discernible before the conservation work. The restoration
was done by metal conservation specialists of the Stuart Dean Company,
whose projects have included the Statue of Liberty, the U.S. Capitol
Building and Faneuil Hall in Boston.
