Elysian Park Therapeutic Recreation Center is located at 929 Academy Road in Los Angeles, near Dodger Stadium. They provide recreation programs for community residents, from ages two and a half thru adult, which target the interest and needs of participants with disabilities. The facility includes an office, gymnasium, classrooms, preschool rooms, as well as an outside children play area. Their programs includes a large after school programs for youth ages 6-18, as well as seasonal day camps, preschool classes, teen and adult programs such as social clubs and body conditioning, and special events such as a Holiday festival, Halloween social, Concert in the park, and a Valentines dance. Approximately 85% of their clientele are people with mental or physical disabilities.
The Elysian Park Therapeutic Recreation Center has special children's programs include a creative play pre-school, the "Funtastic Tot Lot Families" program, for parents and children, to facilitate social skills, motor skills and enhance family time, and an after-school program for school age children (6-18). Elysian Park holds an annual fund raiser at a basketball tournament to provide camping scholarships for children with disabilities.

Half day care 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (no trips)
For anyone with a disability 14 years of age and up.
Tuesday and Thursday 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
This program require a doctor's approval. Program are designed for individual needs.
An athletic bases program for children 5 to 15 years of age.
