Gang Reduction and Youth Development (GRYD)

 

The GRYD Program is a comprehensive gang reduction program administered by the Mayor’s Office of Gang Reduction and Youth Development. The GRYD program aims to effectively reduce gang crime and violence in specific geographic areas through the application of evidence-based gang prevention, intervention, reentry and suppression strategies. 

 

 

Resource Development Officer

Researches grant programs and priorities; Develops and maintains relationships with funders including foundations, government entities and/or businesses;Assists in contract review and reporting requirements for funded grant programs.

 

Summer Night Lights Site Coordinator

The 2009 "Summer Night Lights" program provides fun-filled, positive opportunities during the summer months for our young people and their families living in the most crime-ridden communities throughout the City.

 

Regional Program Manager

Responsible for all program management functions, including program oversight, community relations, and program development and implementation throughout one of three GRYD regions.

  

Zone Program Manager

Oversees all program management functions including program oversight, community relations, and program development and implementation within one of the city's GRYD zones.
