Please note: This RFP is for non profit 501 (c) (3) non-profit organizations with either a history of or interested in providing housing and/or housing-based supportive services to low-income, homeless or at-risk homeless individuals with HIV/AIDS within Los Angeles County. Agencies are to submit proposals based on the projected number of clients to be served, the type of services to be provided, target population and geographic area, and overall capacity of their agency.
Bidder’s Conference:The bidder’s conference is scheduled for Thursday, February 1, 2007 at the Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD) lobby-level auditorium at 2:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity to ask technical questions regarding the actual RFP, City of Los Angeles Contracting requirements, goals and outcomes of the LAHD HOPWA Program and meeting other prospective proposing agencies and the LAHD HOPWA staff.
Submission Deadline:The RFP proposals must be submitted by Tuesday February 20, 2007.
HOPWA administers funding to non-profit agencies who provide needed services to the low income and homeless population living with HIV/AIDS, through direct and indirect housing assistance and supportive service programs.
