Fire Life Safety Review (Ordinance No. 176599, effective June 4, 2005)
(Including new construction, additions, or alterations)

• Apartments and Condominiums - More than two stories or more than 15 units.
• Hotels - More than two stories or more than 19 guest rooms.
• High-rise buildings - 75 feet or more in height, includes public administration or utilities buildings.
• All airport buildings - Buildings located on airport property.
• All 'A' occupancy buildings - Includes church, restaurant, theater, amusement building, etc. that has 50 or more occupants.
• All 'E' occupancy buildings - Includes schools, colleges, etc.
• All 'H' occupancy buildings - Includes manufacturing buildings and warehouses that handle hazardous materials.
• All 'I' occupancy buildings.
