Andrew Glazier, Member
Andrew Glazier is a Development Associate with the urban development and planning firm Civic Enterprise. Prior to his work at Civic Enterprise, Andrew spent 3 years as Chief of Staff to Los Angeles School Board President Marlene Canter. In that capacity, he advised on a range of issues including budget and education policy, new and existing facilities improvements, and political strategy. Before working at the LAUSD, he served as a policy advisor to former State Controller and 2001 Mayoral Candidate Kathleen Connell. Prior to that, he worked for the LA City Department of Neighborhood Empowerment on the formation of the citywide system of Neighborhood Councils. Before beginning his work in public service and after graduating from Pomona College, he lived in Japan for one year teaching English.
Andrew is a graduate of the UCLA Anderson School of Management (MBA, June 2006) and was a Coro Fellow in the 1999-2000 class.
Andrew enjoys playing the ‘cello and has played in a local rock band for the last 7 years. Andrew was born and raised.
