The Executive Committee comprises the elected Commission Officers, and is responsible for coordinating Commission policies, procedures and budget recommendations. The Committee is also responsible for: (1) Development of Commission agendas; (2) Recommendations for assignment of members to ad hoc committees and task forces; (3) Coordination of public hearings and preparation of consequent reports to the Mayor and City Council; (4) Preparation of required Commission annual reports; (5) Liaison to the other Commissions and community at large on disability issues; and, (6) Coordination of Commission special events and public relations activities, as needed.
