The City of Los Angeles, Office of the City Administrative Officer (CAO) Risk Management is responsible for insurance and bonds compliance of contractors, vendors, and permittees on a citywide basis. CAO Risk Management has developed Track4LA®, the Citys online insurance compliance system designed to make submitting and retrieving insurance information both quick and easy. Track4LA® uses the standard insurance industry form, the Acord 25 Certificate of Liability Insurance, in electronic format. System advantages include standardized, universally accepted forms, paperless approval of insurance submissions (24 hours per day, 7 days per week) and security checks and balances. Contractors, vendors, and permittees doing business with the City have their insurance broker/agent access Track4LA® at track4la.lacity.org and follow the instructions to register and submit the appropriate proof of insurance on their behalf.
