Bee hives located in a tree in the public rights-of-way should be reported to the Bureau of Street Services Urban Forestry Division by contacting the Bureau's Service Request Section at (800) 996-2489. City residents experiencing problems with bees on private structures must contact a private pest control company or the Los Angeles County Honey Bee Hotline at (800) 925-3800 for assistance.
