The Civil Liability Management Branch strives to meet the City Attorney's liability reduction goals by aggressively defending the City's interests in claims and lawsuits, as well as through proactive efforts to effectively manage and thus avoid the risks that often result in a claim. The Branch represents and defends the City's interests in matters of civil litigation, worker's compensation, collections, and risk management.
