Description
An "E" Permit (LAMC 62.0A) is issued for jobs in or adjacent to public streets for the purposes of a street light relocation, shoring (lateral support), a monitoring well, soilboring, private conduits (non-franchise), and other activities. E permits are issued to private contractors. Utility companies should apply for a U permit. Apply for a permit on-line or apply in person at a Bureau of Engineering District Office.
