Description
Customers in need of water and power services for business property within the City of Los Angeles can contact the LADWP to make application for service. These customers include sole proprietorships, general partnerships, limited partnerships, corporations, LLPs, and LLCs. Customers who have not previously held business accounts with DWP can expect to pay a security deposit that is held until the account is considered credit established, typically about three years. The amount of the deposit can be expected to be the approximate equivalent of two billing periods. Payment arrangements are available to facilitate deposit payment. The standard new account service charge is $13.00 for the first service, and $2.50 for each additional service. Additional fees are assessed for same-day service.
