From Mission San Gabriel go west along Mission Road through Alhambra. Mission Road loops left past Lowell and turns into Alhambra Avenue. From Alhambra Ave., go right on Valley to Lincoln Park (restrooms available). From Valley Bl., make a left on Mission Road to Cesar Chavez , then right on Cesar Chavez over the bridge to Alameda. Turn left on Alameda and walk through the Metropolitan Water District, to rendezvous in MWD Plaza before we walk (together) to Olvera Street. At the half way point of the Walk, there will be a rest stop at Lincoln Park where you can enjoy refreshments and music. Vehicles will be available for disabled participants.

Restrooms are available for you at the Mission, the 3rd and 5th miles of the Walk, at Lincoln Park, and throughout El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historical Monument.

When you arrive at the San Gabriel Mission or Lincoln Park and have registered you will receive a wrist band, t-shirt, and fact sheet. You can use your wristband for refreshments and water at the end the walk.
